Sally Cloke is postgraduate student in visual communication design and theology at the University of Newcastle, Australia. Her research interests include the relationship between aesthetics and ethics and the role of aesthetics in worship and ritual. Sally has also first-hard experience of image-making and transmission in contexts of global poverty and oppression, having spent time as a communications officer and photographer working for international development agencies. Prior to this, she spent more than 10 years as a copywriter in the advertising sector, winning numerous industry awards.
